John Dornik receives prestigious ICON award

Based on his years of experience, long list of achievements, keen ability to lead, success in the courtroom, and his dedication to mentoring and empowering others.

For the past 17 years, the Eagan Noon Rotary Club has sponsored a book giveaway program to encourage and inspire young minds.

Rotary member and Siegel Brill attorney Sherri Rohlf was involved for four years as a reader. In 2018, at the age of 55, Sherri died from pancreatic cancer. This project was so important to Sherri that memorials at her funeral were dedicated to the Rotary book program. Her son and his friends created a “Go Fund Me” page for that memorial and it brought in $35,000. Large contributions came from law firms who knew her and other friends and neighbors.

The program was renamed Sherri’s Books, and each book is marked by a sticker in her honor.

In March 2023, Eagan Noon Rotary Club distributed 1,084 books to Eagan first graders.
