INTERESTS

I am an avid fiction reader and puzzler, and am always looking for something creative or artistic to do with my time. I also enjoy playing with my two children, my labrador retriever, and spending time with my husband.

  • Nicole extensively researched commercial vehicle rules and regulations, and applicable case law to craft a novel legal argument that turned an insurer’s denial of coverage into a $3 Million settlement for a grieving family.

  • Nicole successfully crafted complex legal arguments in a Complaint. Weaving research studies, state training documents, and industry standards into the detailed facts of the case to show employer liability for the intentional tort of an employee. Turning an initial denial of liability into an offer to mediate and ultimate settlement of the case.

  • Nicole spent extensive time negotiating with the air carrier a settlement for her client that was left with a large scar on her back after being handed dry ice instead of an ice pack on an international flight. Successfully negotiating an initial offer of $3,500 to an ultimate settlement of $75k.
